HENRY DRINKER PLAQUE

Located at Clifton Beach Road

 

The plaque reads: “In Lasting Memory of Colonel Henry Waln Drinker born Philadelphia June 25, 1787 died Clifton October 13, 1866 whose efforts made possible the settlement of the wilderness once known as Drinker’s Beech and those who settled and labored here to establish this township now known as Clifton.
